Nagib Lakhani – Chair

With an entrepreneurial background in a variety of diverse businesses, Nagib has focused on the hospitality industry for over 25 years. His experience in the industry has ranged from consulting, construction of hotels and restaurants, to the acquisition and repositioning of hotel assets. As the President of RevMax Hospitality, Nagib has been principally involved with identifying value-add acquisitions of full-service hotel assets and positioning them to better deliver on their potential.

RevMax Hospitality engages in the full cycle of the investment journey: identifying acquisition opportunities, conducing in-depth due diligence, brand negotiations, placing optimal financing, renovation, and asset management. Nagib has a long history of community service in both Canada and the USA

Nadia Alarakhia

Nadia Alarakhia is currently the owner and operator of NS Media, a digital marketing firm dedicated to the hospitality industry. A key revenue stream for NS Media is Review My Room, a review collection tool that helps hotel owners and operators to get more positive reviews on key reviews sites such as Trip Advisor and Google.

Nadia was raised in the United States and resides in Houston, TX. With more than 17 years of background in Marketing and User Experience, she brings a strong understanding of consumer behavior within the North American marketplace.

Nadia received her MBA from University of Tampa and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida.

Aly Valiani

Aly Valiani, President of New Horizons Hospitality, is a multi-faceted entrepreneur focused on hospitality with a passion for giving back. Since founding his company in 2006, Aly has led new construction and development projects exceeding $150m. He excels at leading complex projects involving, commercial real estate, finance and construction.

Aly has been featured in Bisnow Houston, The Houston Chronicle, CultureMap, Houston Business Journal and Fox 26 News Houston and owns two sand volleyball bars in Houston

Aly Valiani

Aly Valiani, President of New Horizons Hospitality, is a multi-faceted entrepreneur focused on hospitality with a passion for giving back. Since founding his company in 2006, Aly has led new construction and development projects exceeding $150m. He excels at leading complex projects involving, commercial real estate, finance and construction.

Aly has been featured in Bisnow Houston, The Houston Chronicle, CultureMap, Houston Business Journal and Fox 26 News Houston and owns two sand volleyball bars in Houston.

Minaz

Amin Jamal

Amin Jamal is co-Founder and Managing Principal at Urbane Capital Management, a South Florida-based real estate investment and development firm that focuses on infill properties for value-add repositioning, adaptive re-use and ground-up development. 

Amin is also a Principal at ASJ/Superstone Group, a global real estate investment and management group focused on residential and hospitality assets in the United States, Brazil, India and Southeast Asia.  The group has developed over 3 million square feet of real estate in various emerging markets.  Amin holds a B.A. from Columbia University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Alif Maredia

Alif Maredia, President of PA Hospitality, is a lifelong Houston native with a passion for fostering growth and development across his teams and properties. With over a decade of experience in the hospitality development and management industry, he believes the key to driving results in the hospitality industry lies in building a strong leadership team and providing exceptional customer service.
